Default xj front tow point

i looked for a long time and only saw tow hooks like the optional factory ones that require the front bumper to be removed. then i found these, i got them off ebay, you can use d rings, or hooks.

they worked great, install was easy, and a good design. no bumper removal, all hardware was there. just thought i'd pass that along, cuz front tow points on xj doesn't have many options, i think this is farely new.

i don't have anything to do with them, just satisfied customer.

ya, i've used them, very strong, good design. uses steering box mounts, sway bar mounts and couple other existing holes. and there's holes for a gear box on the right side, cuz they made them right side drive also, so all holes were there.

d rings are nice, and safer. the factory style i don't think alloy d rings. probably the only other way to get d rings is an expensive front bumper.

Another option is a front trailer hitch..etrailor.com sells some for the front that are around $100...I think the front hitch it the route I will go since it will also allow me to run a winch if I want..
