Default XJ Crank pully came apart?

My sister just sent me this pic.
Said the pully was on the ground under the radiator.... the rest is still bolted to the crank...

anyone ever seen this before?

I don't think I've ever had mine off.... Is it a 1 piece pully that broke? or is it a wedge type fit/?

thanks.

The pulley is held on to the harmonic balancer with a rubber isolator.

The rubber gets hard and separates. It is a factory assembled unit and is not repairable. The cure is to replace the pulley.
