Doesn't look like it, although I think it's just four bolts holding the brackets to the frame. Remove the end caps first.

There's there's 2 or 3 bolts holding caps to bumpers on the bottom an the brackets hold the top and the bumper has some bolts too. Just remove all screws and bolts and pull off caps

im putting 4 off road lights on my front luggage rack, was woundering if the rack would make a good ground and whats the best way to run the wires into my xj for the switch

Should, if it's mounted metal t metal (IE no rubber/plastic spacers) since half the OEM stuff is grounded to the unibody

Dunno, i don't have roof lights. But i think that's what you'll have to do. Make it as small as possible then seal it with caulk or something.

Unless you want it exposed coming out of a door jam.

I saw a guy come out the third bake light he just drilled a hole in it and sealed it with clear caulk. hole and through the trim around the top inside it was extremely clean looking.
