what is this thing? to me it seems like its keeping my jeep from fully running. just replaced the fuel filter and it studders and dies. had to clip and direct wire it back because it melted the plastic things and burned me pretty good.
just wondering if its a easy fix, if not, Karma goes up for sale.

Its a ballast resistor for the ignition. Good news is they're cheap.

It's burned up. Get a new one and your problems should go away

it will me and my friend spent three days trying to figure out why his jeep wouldn't start after we pressure washed the engine turned out that one of the connection on it got knocked loose and it wouldn't do nothing with out it.

Default oil pan drain plug

Hi guys!

The boys down at the gas station messed up, and somehow managed to mangle the oil drain plug, whilst doing an oil change.
The plugīs threads are gone ( luckily it looks like the threads in the oil pan is undamaged ).
My engine is an 2.1L , and I canīt find a plug thats specific for that engine on neither teamcherokee.com or quadratec.com.
Would a plug from a 2.5L do?

regards,
Torstein

Most parts stores carry a drain plug that's self tapping for a fix like that.
