Thanks Outlaw!

Looks like its drain time again...lol..

Do u guys just rip out the entire wheel well liner? Or cut it and leave it? I feel like it should stay in.

If its in the way trim it, if you're cutting the fenders rip it out.

Just tip it out, it just keeps mud out of the door jambs. It's useless.

No idea how 'big' of a resistor is needed, but here's a 1/2 watt: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...uctId=12554237

Spark plugs aren't under the valve cover (valves are lol). On 2000+ you have to remove the coil rail to get at them

I have a noise in my engine that i just started to hear. Its an ever so slight tap thats rhythmic. It isnt random. You have to listen for it though. Its closer to the firewall because you can hear it inside. Any ideas? Big deal, no big deal?

You need to pop the hood and listen around. Take a rod of some sort, touch it to some main engine components (block, head, valve train...) and put your ear on the other end to listen. My 98' started to make a tapping that seems to come and go. I narrowed it down to the distributor. More than likely a bearing is going bad and it needs replaced.

Does the noise increase with rpm's? Also check when your under the hood with it running the evap purge solenoid on the passenger side firewall. Its right in front of the wiring harness with 2 hoses hooked to it. Even put your hand on it and get a feel, mine taps on and off real loud sometimes.

Fuel economy questions... so, I filled up today and I apparently got like 19.52 mpg. Blew my mind. It was mainly highway driving to my girlfriend's college and back. It's starting to make me wonder... My daily drive to school in the morning/afternoon is just about 4 minutes... That hardly gives my jeep time to warm up, correct? I feel like that coupled with the fact that I stop a few times on the way to school could be why I'm only getting 10 mpg.. Also, I've noticed that whenever I drive with the AC on my shifts are smoother, however, this could just be because it's warmed up a bit. Usually when the jeep shifts out of first it's a bit jerky.

So my two questions: could not reaching operating temperature give me bad MPG?
and why could the AC being on result in smoother shifts?
