Wrangler T cases are clocked differently. Doesn't mean it won't work but it might require modifications

I think the difference might be in the tailhousing of the tranny so it might just be a direct swap

the wrangler tends to have a t-case that the drivers side drop is closer to the body, due to more clearence. idk if it is in the tranny or the t-case, but even if it was the case, a 1 inch t-case drop should fix this.

Yep. TJ cases are clocked way closer to flat than an XJ.

With a BFH to take care of the floor you can clock our tcase flat, too. Just gotta redrill holes and fill the old ones.

Therein a write up somewhere, I saved it for when I do my trans swap. I wanna clock mine flat.

yep, i had one on my old jeep and had to put a t-case drop on it cause the little tab that is molded into the case was hitting the floor. you could cut it off or just drop the case.

EDIT: *side note* with the YJ when they came with the Puke-alot 5 speed, the transmission mount where the t-case bolts on was actually different and the t-case was similar to the xj, but still not the same.
