dam thats messed up

 

I ran into a similar problem when working on a piece of equipment from work.

DO NOT SEND IT BACK>>>> that is getting rid of your proof!

Have them send you another motor and return the damaged one the the same packaging and mark it return to sender. That, should... hopefully.. get them to be prompt in getting you another motor because they will not have to pay shipping back to themselves.. which they should appreciate.

And I did, years back have a similar jeep related issue (just remembered), I ordered a DANA44 rear axle from the only place that I found that said they had one(?).. anyway.. first was another D30, second was an AMC20, then.. after a lot of arguing.. they sent me my Ford 9"/31 spline...

So hey.. if they continue to screw up over and over and over again.. maybe they will send you a NEW one and not a re-maned one.. ya never know..

Well, I called them and they apologized and sent a replacement right away. Hopefully the next one isn't a hunk of crap. I'll keep you posted.

 

get out the microscope, magnifying glass, and everything you need to look it over VERY good. I would inspect the living crap out of the next one.
