My little old Cherokee has some severely rotting rocker panels, as I'm sure a lot of you have had to deal with. and for christmas my girlfriend got me a set of replacement panels. But they are a wrap-around style I haven't seen before. Anybody know if I still need the backer plates like you use for most replacement panels, or can they just be welded in top and bottom?
