Default wont stay running??????
86 cherokee automatic, 4cyl,throttle body, engine starts but immediatly dies??? any ideas?

Factory alarm???

Fuel pump has just enough pressure to prime the line and then snuffs out.

If it's the fuel pump the cheapest one I found was Ebay $56
Then Autozone $109
(I used one off a donor truck)

I thought the V6's we're carbed, not injected?

If it's injected, then swap "choke" with "idle control valve"

yes check the alarm box under the dash i just got mine running and thats what it was doing and now it pers like new

have u checked the alarm box under the dash?? it will let ur jeep run but then shuts the fuel pump off rite away.
