wont start when hott

wont start when hott
After i go 4wheeling and my jeep gets hot when i shut it off and then try to start it like 5 min later it wont it just turns over thats when its like really hott.When its not scorching hott it does it but spits and spudders till i get it reved then it runs fine. It does not do it on the road at all. Im thinking i need a coil pack and plugs but idk yet its an 01 cherokee any ideas?
