Flexplate Rattle?
So the other day (with your guys help) I diagnosted the rattle in my jeep as a loose flexplate, I tightened the bolts dow and was good to go. The other day I took the jeep out wheeling let it sit for a couple days and when I went to start it I got a new rattle, it doesnt sound quite the same, and it is more consitant, it doesn't go away ( it gets lighter at higher rpms). And one time when I shut it off and went back to restart the jeep nothing happened, not even a click or a shutter until I rolled the jeep a few inches and it started up fine. I guess what I am asking is how can I make sure it is a bad flexplate before I go and buy one, and if it is a bad flexplate how much would it be if I had to take it to a shop?... I am decent at working on it how long would it take? I appriciate your help, thanks !

Just on GP, since you are a wrench, you might want to pull your starter and have a look. If your bendix was somehow engaged or stuck you would get no clack, then rolling it may have freed it. You can check connections in the process.
While your at it check the end of your top starter bolt. Once mine was too long. Made a steady noise hitting the torque plate, the end of the bolt was worn and shiny.
And/or/also, if you get nothing turning the key, hold it on start and jiggle the shifter in park or neutral. The NS switch gets gummy.

check the exhaust. i had the same problem, come to find out it was the exhaust hitting the crossmember. I just put a jack under the pipe by the crossmember and jacked up til it hit the floorboard, let it back down and it moved enough not to rub. that was my issue, not saying urs is the same but either way i would check it out.
