Won't start
Hello everyone. I have a 1996 Cherokee Country that I can't get to start. I had a little fuel leaking out of the fuel filter the other day and didn't think much of it. Now it won't start. I replaced the filter, but no luck there. I do have a code for an O2 sensor. Could that be the problem?

for spark, pull plugs, ground it to chassis by resting it on something metal, and have a buddy crank over. you should see a nice bluish spark right between node and contact point. make sure theyre clean and properly gapped. for fuel, ill quote tjwalker:
"With a fuel pressure gauge, the proper adapters, and an FSM that outlines the pressure leakdown test procedure and specs, you should be able to isolate this.
The real key here is that many gauges have adapters that allow you to "crimp off" or stop the fuel pressure right near the gauge.
With the fuel pressure crimped off, you can isolate whether the drop is coming from either the tank side or the fuel rail / injector side."

Hey guys,
Thought I would let you know that it ended up being the crank position sensor. Thanks for all of the help. I really do appreciate it!
