wont restart after shut down

Default wont restart after shut down

I have a question my 95 Cherokee 4.0l auto 4x4 starts fine and drives fine I can drive it for awhile then when I shut it off it wont restart in park or neutral it does nothing no clicking no check engine light the fuel pump does run and the buzzer and everything works fine im kind of stumped on it im thinking it could b the neutral safety switch is dirty or I don't know what else if anyone has any guesses that'd be great

Best guess would be to clean the Neutral Safety Switch. My 98 did the same thing

I used this to help clean mine

But it turned out my NSS was broke so I ordered one off of 1aauto.com for around $55-60. Perfect replacement and everything works

I agree with neutral safety switch, Had the same problem with an old vette that I had..

Be very careful when taking it off. The plastic on the back of it is very easy to break.
