won’t shift until warm or first shift

Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Does anyone else have any other ideas before I go ahead and get that trans? Just has me stumped because it shifts ok manually and everyone tells me that’s an electrical problem or sensor related but I’ve replaced or tested about every sensor there is.
