Default Transmission shift problem

I have a 1996 jeep Cherokee base model 4x4 4.0

I have already checked fluid its pink and clean I have tried the TPS that didn't work and I unplugged the TCM which should let me shift manually but that did nothing and I still can't shift

I have been having to rev up to 3 to 4 thousand rpm to get out of first gear it only does it after 10 to 15 mins of driving and hear recently it hasn't been going into the next gear at all no matter if I disconnect battery terminals or anything

have you adjusted the TV cable? Quick 5-10 minute job.

Yeah, and 4-9 minutes of that is lubing the adjuster so that it works properly.
