Default wj front coils on an XJ

I am new to the forum and am also a new owner of a 94 cherokee country. I was told by someone today that i could swap the coil springs out of a v8 grand cherokee into my cherokee and get about a 2inch lift out of it. I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this or tried it.

I thought it was about 1 inch lift. Over all you can use it and throw in another fac. insolator and gain a little more.

WJ coils won't work... You need ZJ V8 coils..
If you use regular V8's you can expect 1-1.5". UC V8's will give about 2-2.25". That is what my son got out of ours. We put an extra iso on them and got close to 2.75"...

..my 87 XJ has stock v8 ZJ coils and the bumpstop and everything necessary for the swap. Previous owner did it, but works well and you can tell by looking at them, they are beefier. should be very cheap at a PnP or any other junkyard! (or craigslist lol)
