evening all,

just looking for some info on wiring up a few spotlights on my Jeep..I have 4 spots wired to the roof as is and 2 on the bumper, i had a mechanic wire them for me and i want to rewire them and make the job a bit neater...I have all 6 lights hooked up so as to work on the full beams, ie when i dip the fulls they switch off..

Now this is where im lost, i want to be able to have the 4 on the roof wired as is and the 2 on the bumper on a different cuircut so i can use them as fog lights...i want to remove all the existing wiring and replace it, then il know which wire runs to what and how to fix anything that goes AWOL...

Im not sure how all the wiring stuff goes, so if somebody could give me some help it would be great lads n ladies...

The system as is has 3 relays ( 2 of which are fusable), a fuse from the battery and 3 on/off switches..

find the switch for your bumper lights and then replace the lead(switched power) on the switch and tap into your parking lights. that way you can run them with lo and hi beams. and when the lead is off of the parking lights you will not be able to run them without your lights on, so there is no possibility of leaving the lights on and having your battery drained. follow this diagram:
