This is a continuation to a post from a couple weeks ago.
Am I missing something cause I did not think the 98 has a wiper control module under the dash...seems like I saw it was controlled from the BCM...or am I just whistling dixie out my butt.
My wipers keep quitting on me...and it is getting more than annoying it is dangerous.
I know I had to remove the wiper control module in my 89 COmanche and just plugged the two harness that went into the module into each other and it worked fine...although no intermittent wipers.
So...is there the same stupid POS module in my 98 or not...cause I can't find one and as I said..I read they are controlled in the BCM....unless I read something for a newer year model.

O.K....I believe you but...where is it located...I took the plastic and metal covers off of my lower dash and none to be found and when i looked online all info says there is none on the 1998 just the BCM.
Does anyone have a pic of where it is located.
I am not dounbting anyone but I can't find it...

its a black box velcrowed to the lower dash

Well I don't have one there...now I am asking if you kinow for sure there is one on a 1998.
The diagram shows it going ONLY to the BCM and the BCM on a 1998 I think is way up on the firewall.
I am not being a jerk to you so please bear with me but are you sure there is one on a 1998 because they are not listed on any schematic I find.

There is no wiper conrol module from 1997 on it appears. looks like just the BCM and a circuit breaker and the wiper switch on the column...and the motor best i can tell.
Well this sucks....
