There are a ton of xj winsheilds at my local junkyard. How exactly do i go about removing and reinstalling the new one. I kno the winsheild has to seal properly. Thanks again as any info will help greatly!!

the hardest part is getting a good one out without breaking it.
i'm sure you will break a few before you get a good one out, so start with the crappiest looking ones first. you will break a few, that's almost a guarantee.
try using piano wire, or picture hanging wire. mig wire might work too, but you don't want to poke yourself with it.
bring a friend, and a set of suction cups to grab the windshield.
as for sealing, you can get the proper stuff from a paint/body supply store.
putting in the replacement is quite simple. use copious amounts of sealant and place the windshield. use a couple wood blocks to hold the bottom of the windshield so it doesn't just slide down.
you can get a molding tool to remove the chrome trim if it's an older model xj.
newer models require a new rubber gasket/trim. new is about 25 bux.
