Windshielp wiper fitment
So I have the new style of windshield wipers on my xj and the last few inches of the passenger side wiper doesnt sit flush against the windshield. My moms xj has the same issue. Different brand but same style wipers. Does anyone else have trouble with this?

It's a very common problem with every vehicle. It's hard to make wipers specific for each vehicle that hug the window perfectly. 99% of wipers I sell and install do not touch 100% of the window.

I use Bosch Icon on mine and have the same issue. I suppose you could try heating up the last quarter of it with a heat gun and carefully bending it.

I have the bosche as well. I wonder if it has to do with the wiper arm itself not putting enough pressure down.

Perhaps, but I think the more likely culprit is the fact that the windshield curves more sharply at the edge. The old style of wiper was more flexible. In any case, I still like the aero ones better.

Mine does this because of the relatively sharp curve of the windshield as it meets the A pillar.
It does not affect the efficiency of the wipe in the visual area of the windshield.
I guess if it really bothers you, you could buy a shorter wiper for the passenger side.

Correct........I just run a std. pair and the little overhang on the passenger doesn't bother me at all.

Put a 1 to 2 inch shorter wiper on the passenger side.
