Neither my front or my back windshield washer sprayer work. I also hear no noise when I hit the trigger for either to work. Can both die at the same time? or is it one motor for both? I've only had the Cherokee for less than 2 weeks, it's a 97 sport.

Did they both work when u got the jeep? Its possible that they burned up before you got it....they are like 15 bucks at the auto parts store and like 5 minutes to put them in...I just changed one this morning and yes there are two motors.

There are 2 sprayers...and...at least on my 2000, they are fed from separate fuses. I don't have the fuse diagram here, but you should be able to use the forum's search feature to find 'fuse diagram'. There's also some postings (one in the last day or two) with external links to XJ shop manuals that might help.
Both sprayers died on my JEEP at the "same time"...I don't use the rear sprayer very often, so it may have been 2-3 weeks apart.
Replacing the pumps was fairly simple...peel back the plastic baffle in the wheel well, and they are right there in front of you. Replacements are pretty cheap.
GOOD LUCK!

Not to be a post wh0re on my first thread...
But does anyone know how I can make it so my windshield wipers sit at their normal position? The passenger side one sits about 3 to 4 inches above where it's suppose to unless i push it down and then they both sit flat.
