That needs redone. Its crap. Looking at the second pic, there is a high spot in the rubber as if it isnt fully seated. There is another high spot closer to the corner. It should sit flat. Also, some installers do not remove enough of the old adhesive, and the glass sticks out more than it did.

The installation in the photos shows evidence of this issue, poor fit, or both
I got mine from the Dealership and supplied it to my glass guy.
He said something similar about it being stiff but he is a pro on got it in good.
Still holding up well after about 6 years.
I just figured a real Mopar part would be better then an aftermarket one but after what you and my glass guy said now I wonder.
The thing that made me laugh was how it was packaged. I had to order it and went to pick it up a couple days later.
At that time I was still delivering for the store using a Prius, yeah I know and don't want to hear it (LOL), and stopped by to grab it when I was driving by the dealership.
Well instead of being rolled up in a smaller plastic bag it was laid out flat on this big piece of cardboard.
I walked in the Dealership, took one look at it leaning against the wall, laughed, and told my guy there I would be back after work to pick it up with the Jeep. MLOL.

Obviously that windsheild looks like crap. As previously stated, they probably didnt remove all the old adhesive. But take a look at these pics, for some reason they are making them way shorter. I called quadratec and they sent me 2 different moldings from 2 different suppliers, both saying they were OEM replacement.

now that you mention it, mine was folded in 1/3rds in a plastic bag with the OEM part num written on it, I figured it may be ex-dealer stock or something but probably quite a few years old.

aftermarket seals are often a lottery for fit, so a dealer or original one is safest..in most cases out here in Australia, Jeep Dealer is not an option, either at all, or due to price

I source new parts via Ebay or via USA, such as Rock Auto

Well since I have access to Dealership parts I pick and choose whether to use them or go aftermarket.
Depends on a few things.
What the track record is for the particular part, like new bad out of the box aftermarket CPS's seeming to be a more common issue, how hard is it to replace, and how important is it.
When my oil gauge started reading 80 I just assumed it was the sensor. Replaced with the Echlin line Napa one, fixed the problem, and been fine for probably 5 years now.
But that won't strand me and is an easy part to replace. CPS I went with Mopar cause it could strand me and not so much fun to replace. LOL.
If I ever do the door seals in my Jeep I am leaning towards going with Mopar ones. Despite the fact that last time I checked they were over $100 each.
Guy on this forum did his first Jeep with the Crown ones. Was not really happy with them. On his second build he went with Mopar ones.
According to him the difference was night and day.

This isn't a problem with the fit of the molding.

The windshield replacement was done incorrectly and needs to be redone.
