Windows tinted and alarm yanked out.-jeep-004.jpg

Not sure if pic will down load, Took it to alarm store and they yanked it out. That dam alarm after market gave me nothing
but truble, Start not start good riddens. So had the windows tinted for summer, It gets so hot in Texas in July and Aug.

Alarms are more of a pain than they are worth. Who even pays attention to an alarm going off in the mall parking lot? Nobody. Just keep your stuff out of plain sight and be careful of where you have the tunes cranked. Pulling into the mall with the tunes blaring, and then parking and walking away from your rig is not smart, it just lets the theives know you have something they can get 20 bucks for.

The tint looks great ... I would recommend putting a kill switch somewhere hidden in the jeep tho just for a piece of mind ... Alarms do nothing but kill switches work

But they still end up doing hundreds of dollars in damage.
Little buggers tried to steal mine but it has the key immobilizer.
if you try to start it too many times with out the proper key with the chip in it it locks out the computer.
Broke my steering column and the SKIM module. was going to cost about a $1500 from the dealer to get it fixed. Fortunately I had a spare Cherokee I had bought just for the front axle. Total cost ended up less than $300 and it would have been less than $100 if I had not had it towed to the dealer.

That's because the majority of alarm installers are hacks.

You're smarter than most people.

Yeah, looks good. My first Cherokee was a company vehicle. They tinted ALL their vehicles just as a theft deterrent. We had tools and other valuables inside. If it can't be seen, it doesn't tempt anybody. It's no guarantee, but it helps.

Out of sight, out of mind. My ZJ is tinted all around and really dark on the rear doors and back half, I feel naked when I drive my wife's untinted car.

On the flip side of tinting, too much and people might think you have some really nice goodies you trying to hide.
