I actually used general weather stripping you can buy at any hardware store. I ran it around all the door seals and like 2 years later it's still holding up well. No more leaks when going through a car wash and it reduced wind noise quite a bit.
Maybe something to consider if you can't find oem stripping
Note from DJ
Copy your part number either one different results for each number into Google
Right Door numbers 55175352 or 55175352AD
You will find very pricey results.
If it were me I’d look for an auto glass replacement business in your area and check with them on a price; they probably by it in bulk quantity and just notch it at the corner.
Checked older threads but no proper info what I am looking for. ISO inside window
viper or seal L/R for 84 Cherokee 2DR. It is 26.5” long, all I find is 19” and 24” and may
be with the wrong profile. Any info where could I find these items?
Is this something you can re-use from a donor Jeep? BleepinJeep removes the weatherstripping from this Jeep super quick, then takes out the glass and the window motor.
Anyone know where to find the plastic/rubber strip that attaches to the inside bottom of each front door? Not sure what its called, but seals against the sill plate on the rocker, maybe "rocker seal"? Thanks
I just bought these same seals for my '87 from TeamCherokee.com. They are nice, supple, and actually hold the damn window as they should. Worth every penny.
I'm sorry fellows, I have posted very few requests so I'm not good at it. I'm not the guy looking for part #4 in the diagram. I'm looking for the piece at the bottom inside of the front doors. I would explain more, but I can't even find the name of the part. Its rubber and or plastic, runs the length of the door bottom and I assume keeps dirt/debris from entering thru the gap between the outside door bottom and the door sill/jam. Again, I apologize for the confusion. I posted hear because weather strip was being discussed and I thought the piece I was looking for would be classified as weather strip. Thanks for your patience and any help.
