Default window switch problem help?

So I have a 99 Cherokee sport and the power window switches choose when they want to work....the main one on the driver door works all the time but yhr other three doors only work sometimes? Has anyone ever ran into this problem...or could maybe point me in the right direction...any help would be much appreciated

Its pretty common, my 99 does that too. I think the main switch gets dirty, then isnt able to send power to the other doors. Supposedly you can take the drivers door panel off and clean the switch. I'm just too lazy to mess with it, it doesnt really bother me, I'm always in the drivers seat

It's not the switch, it's the wiring harness. If you follow the wiring down you'll find the quick disconnect, you have to check to make sure it's still plugged in proper. The wiring goes under your feet to the other doors so as you've moved your feet on the floor for thousands of miles in your jeep it slowly starts to pull the disconnects apart and damages the wires. Take a look under your dash just infront of your door and remove that plastic protector, it should be sitting right around in that area. Good luck
