Window Switch Not Working
I am currently driving a 2000 Cherokee Sport and it have been over 4 months now that I can not figure out why my window switches are not working. I am able to control all the windows but my passengers are not able to roll down their windows. I have checked the fuse and it is in working order I took apart the doors to make sure all windows where contected. It's funny because when I get something fixed on the Jeep they work but a couple of days after they no longer work. Do you guys have any tips.

huh, thats a new trick... (the paper clip bypass for window switch) here is my question: what if i know that the window wsitch is bad cause when i pull up on the rocker for my window, the other switches lights come on but the windows still wont work. is this bypass still effective, or do i need a whole new switch?

First place to check is the drivers door harness check for contunity on each wire frum the switch plug to the main door plug at the bottom of the a pillar. If your front speakers are not working it's prob the same cause. Don't buy the switch untill you check this. Btw dorman makes a replacement switch get the number from their website 9 times out of 10 this one is the cheapest from your local real parts store. I hope this helps.

I did some more research and I found this theard as well another way to fix your windows. I did not have enough time to try it but it looks easy and I hope it fixes my windows.

^ I almost guarantee the above method will solve your problem. However, keep in mind it bypasses the lockout switch so you will no longer be able to lock the passenger windows.
