Default window regulator

My driver side manual front window will not crank all the way down. I believe the window regulator is damaged, gears stripped, etc.

Has anyone replaced a manual window regulator and window seals on a pre 97 cherokee?

Could not find any step by step or pictures regarding this on the forum. I believe this regulator is riveted in from the factory. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have an 87 as well, and am headed to the pick n pull later this afternoon to replace my drivers side window regulator...

I've already pulled my door panel off, so I can continue to roll my window up and down, partially.
Its off in case I need to reach down and put it back on track.
I did stick a screw underneath to keep it from going all the way down past the point the teeth are missing, to help.

its pretty straight forward process, once the door panel is off, but will give you more insight once I get back from the jy
