Default Will this tool fit my ball joint?

I found a tool on ebay that removes ball joints. What size will I need?
17mm?
22mm?
32mm?
45mm?

Will a tool like that work on TRE as well or will I have to get a pickle fork? If yes, what size?
15/16"?
11/16"?
1 1/8"?

Thanks

A hammer will work faster, easier, and cheaper.

I have tried with a hammer on the ball joint. Ended up gutting it with an angle grinder and modifying my harmonic balancer puller.
