Default 96 Jeep Cherokee no spark don't know why

My friends Cherokee will randomly die. Today it started then died after 25 min but started right back up. Cleaned iac checked tps, brand new coil and the Cps is only 6 months old. We let it run for 30 min almost died but caught it self, then drove another 15 min around the city nothin. Checked temp with infered gun stayed 180-190. Let it sit off for an hour, then changed the spark plugs since the ones in it where nubbins. Taped them to .040 then started it but only ran for a minute sounded great, just dies. Crank, crank but won't start. Check fuel at rail plenty of pressure, checked spark but nothin. I don't know what else to check that can cause it. Any ideas?

It sounds like maybe the CPS is going again. Do you know where he bought it? I know that anything other then OEM are hit and miss on how long they will last. Or maybe it could be a bad ignition coil. Those would be the things I would check out for no spark issue.

CEL?
Codes?
Check and clean all of the grounds, replace as needed.
Might consider a new cam position sensor

Checked the Cps with ohm meter tested to be good. Where's the cam sensor located? All grounds are in good condition all cleaned
