i found a local add on craigslist where a guy has a set of 4 33/12.5/15 all terrain t/a on steel rims and the rims cam off a old jeep cj-7 he says i was just wondering if they would fit on my 94 xj there 5 lug so i figured there might be a chance they would fit

I do believe that's a big "negatory there good buddy". I ran into the same thing w/ a free set from a R.N. I know that gave me a set of G/Y's on some CJ rims. I ended up going thru Summit and bought a set of some US Wheel rims. I later got me a set of Bassett racing rims...but that's a whole different story...
