Default Will this make me fail smog?

Ok, here is the thing....I got this Jeep and it was missing the evap. vapor can. I went and got one, and got it tested (knowing it would fail, due to needing a drive cycle to reset the ECU) It printed two DTC codes on my failed paper. The evap leak (i knew would be there) and P1682, which is low charging system output. Just wondering if the charging system code would cause me to fail the emissions test,

Yes, you will fail.

Edit: just read, as long the issue is fixed you should pass, get the code cleared first though, as long as it doesnt come back you'll be fine.

Alright, well I am not sure why the code is there. I have had the alt. and battery tested, both good and the battery gauge is reading good, lights are bright, etc. anyone have any other things to check.

lol, no just got the jeep and the bulb is blown in the cluster.....guess I'll clear it and keep scanning to see if it comes back, the battery looks fairly new, so maybe they replaced it and never cleared the code.
