what do you all think 35in boggers on stock axles

I say if you had a 8.25 it might be o.k. I had 35's on my 2k tj with no issues, I was on dirt trails so no rocks and I really didn't get on it too much. Others will chime in........

you have to change axles. at the very least a d44 front and very least a d44 rear. Both need cromo axle shafts and I bet you will still break things. I seriously wouldn't do it. you will be breaking axle shafts, ring gears, steering, wearing out and breaking unit bearings, knuckles. I'm sure theres more but cant think right now.

it all depends on what your gonna do with it. some people can run 38s on the stock axles with a D35 at that and be fine but it all comes down to what your using your jeep for. if you are careful and dont try to rag it out you should be fine, but if you play ruff then you could brake something.....but if you do break something the JY is your friend

im running 33's on stock d35 axle with the 3:73 gear by buddy is running 35's on his d35 with the 3:55 gears i have pulled trees down and i wheel it like its stolen so does he and i haven't had a problem neither has he. im not saying there wont be but there will always be worn out parts and breakage with any axle you have its the nature of the beast

I think he would be alright without a locker and 4.10 gears. My friend beats the snot out of his 98 with 33's seriously he drives like a psycho and only makes a mess of doors and body panels. I guess the 88 might be different though.

thats awesome i am hoping to run it like it is i am still in the process of building the lift but it will be done on sunday i dont plan on beat the crap its just a event cruser
