Default Will a 94 trans work in a 97?

Just like the title says, I blew my trans and found a low mileage trans and torque converter from a buddy. I have a 97 Cherokee 4.0 4X4 and this trans is out of a 94 Cherokee 4.0 4X4. Will it work without any problems?

I highly doubt it.
I cant tell you yes or no but the 97's had a lot of change to them.

Many places I've checked (such as the link below) says it should work. I'm more concerned with the fact that the trans is from an OBD1 vehicle and my truck is an OBDII so I'm not sure if sensors are different or anything like that. Anyone else that can confirm this yes or no 100%?

So it should just go right in without any modifications? No different sensors or plugs or anything?

The trans should be the same.
The computer connections however could possibly be way different.

I would suggest taking a picture of the connector and matching it to the trans you want to get so you can make sure they are the same.
