WILL 33" x 10.50 FITT???
hello my fello cf members ive been talking about installing my leift for a while now and im finally going to start soon i found a good deal on rims and tires for my lift they are jeep rims on 33"x10.50 a/t
now heres my question my lift is only a 2"coil spacers, 2" rear shackles, and four rough country +2 shocks. i will post a few pictures just for the hell of it and i will start a built up tread as soon as i start my project.
okay back to the question with 33" tires and only 2" lift will it fit i now i might have to trim but trim what and how much?? i saw a jeep cherokee today that had 31" tires and it was stock without any trim so im hoping this will work
thanks for your replys
IIFF i do require any triming can some one post a link on how to trim or even a built up tread that they have did just so i can get a ideal of what im doing before i go cut up my jeep if i even have to..
here is a picture of my lift
here is a pictur of the RIMS (i dont own the tires on these rims)
here is the TIRES i will be putting on the jeep rims this week
thanks for your time my fellow CF members

You will have to do some major fender trimming to fit 33's on a 2" lift..31's are typically the max for a 2" lift...I have a 2" lift atm and I don't think 33;s would look to good nor fit very well without some major trimming and bump stops..

I don't know about the frame but I wouldn't try with 33's! If you ever decide to lift it later it want look right. Plus gearing! Just get some 31's, lot easier and won't look all that bad.

Do you hear banjos?
If you trimmed it enough to fit those tires it would look like a 4X4 that someone that was not concerned about looks owned. It can be done, but if you want the Jeep to look like a DD then you will not like it. It will look like a badazz rock buggy, not the sweet XJ you have now. 33" tires also bring gearing issues to the surface real fast. They WILL affect the way the XJ performs. Hope my $.02 worth helps, later!!
