ok, so a week or two ago i went into the ditch, not hard or fast or anything, but now i have a wierd rattle/knock sound that happens when i turn the engine over to start it, and at low idle in drive.i replaced the trans a while back so i check the torque conv bolts and their still good, i changed the oil and saw no signs of engine damage, and the trans looks good still, so im at a loss, any help would be great, thx guys

check your exhaust, it might hat been knocked loose from the hit.

Ya my exhaust hits my frame and makes that noise sometimes. I'd check it out.

2,check it where it is coneected to the trany cross member,mine does the same thing if i raise the rpm or put it in neutral it goes away,may need to tighten it up.
