Default why do i have pressure in my coolant system?

well the old radiator blew.... prolly from this pressure I have in the coolant system. Anyway I replaced the radiator with a used one (Im on a budget) and now even at idle it will over head after about 10 min and I build up a lot of pressure in the overflow bottle.... I'm assuming the head gasket is going right?? Is there anything else it could be??

It is possible the haed gasket is going out,i had the same thing happen to me not long ago,it finally went out,but before you say it is the gasket have you checked the electric fan, mechanical fan, pump, tstat,i would make sure of the rest before I say it is the head gasket. You said you are on a budget so I assume have a pressure test on your cooling system to determine the problem is out of the question?
