Default Who makes the BEST Sliders ???

Ok it's time for a good set of off the shelf sliders, I need a set that i only install ounce and they NEED to be tough as nails, For my 2000 XJ, what do you all recomend ?

i got the rough country siders and i like them alot, got them for $165

Cw50must and I run C4x4F rock rails, and we both beat the tar out of them... sliding off rocks and landing on the rails... there is a part on one trail that for me to get thru I litterally have to smash both sliders and sidd a couple feet to get the tires on the ground again... it's a ~4' waterfall shaped like a V at the top... get the front tires up, and then ram the rig's sliders into the V, skid a ways, and when the tires hook back up continue on. It's quite an impact.

Chilies makes some good sliders, there are other places too........mmmmmmmmmmm

i hear the rough country sliders were made for the yj and tj and made for a frame, not the XJ unibody, it ends up flexing the unibody and getting up in the rockers, so IMO the Rough country sliders are a no go.....

its all a matter of opinion. i have the jcr stage 2 sliders. i like the look of them and i have bashed the snot out of em. they do the job great.

The JCR stage 3 sliders look pretty beastly.....a pretty penny to get them though.....80 dollar shipping is alot........

there are plenty of threads about sliders on here, make your own so you can do it once an do it right, the way you want them done.
