this is on the passenger side... come out of the main wire harness running across the firewall.
wire is about foot foot and 1/2 long and has a L shape bracket where it'd be bolted somewhere to hold it back.
sooo wheres it go?

Cant find a similar one on my 92 but it may be something only on newer xj's or something going further down on the engine or to transmission or something. Ill look tomorow more in depth if nobody else has come up with anything.

 

looks like part of the under hood light harness. I just cut mine and installed a Chevy truck underhood light with a 15' cord.

 

could be the hood light considering this hood doesnt have one... lmao.
if no one else finds out ill relay out tommorow.
going to steal more parts off a cherry Factory RHD cherokee at the boneyard... may be taking the hood since mine got a bent... *always make sure your hood is closed before u drive off * it can and will hit the windshield... lol

but where it comes out on the passenger side... theres this wire... and one other... so not to hard to spot.
