Default Where should these connectors go? (Passenger side)

Hi everybody,

I noticed today that there are two connectors dangling free on the passenger side of my 98 between the battery and the body. One has little rubber o ring seals and two wires. and the other isn't a connector but looks like it could be related. I haven't noticed any recent electrical problems, and in general I notice no electrical problems. I can't find anything in their general vicinity that's missing a plug either.
Help is much appreciated!!
I'm having trouble posting pics but I'll see if I can put them in the comments.

Does your XJ have cruise control? That plug and "T" fitting are for the factory cruise.

Ok. That is the only photo I can get to upload. The other thing looks like a tophat with the wires coming out the "top". I do have cruise control but doesnt work atm because of clockspring. Where do they plug in for the cruise control? Thanks for the reply!

given the location, that pic could be the cruise servo connector. My 97 doesnt have cruise so i dont know. The "top hat with wires" sounds like the battery temp sensor. The description fits.

The battery temp sensor looks something like this.

Yes that's exactly it. Still no Idea where the cruise control wire plugs in but I'll take a better look at it tomorrow. And find out where the battery sensor goes. Thanks!!

Battery sensor goes under the battery tray. Just removed the battery and you'll see it attached to the bottom of the tray.
