Default Where to find water pump heater hose fitting

I just got done putting my water pump all back together, and found out that the heater hose fitting on the water pump is cracked. It's all rusty and nasty anyway, and I'm going to need a replacement since it leaks like crazy now.

Anyone know where I can get one of these pieces?

Stealership or JY. I don't think they are a standard part that a hardware shop would carry.

Figures. Ah well, I guess I'll have to look around at the yard. Anyone else have an idea?

Are all years interchangable? Mostly all they have at our junkyards are the old body style, and mine is a 99.

Check the parts houses. I think all 4.0L water pumps are interchangable. If they are then those heater hose fitting will be as well. Just check the XJ pumps as the TJs and YJs may have a different angle on the heater hose inlets.

I got one from the stealership for $14.95. Better than having to wait for my day off to drive 20 miles to the local yard and use $15 in gas to get there and back.

I plan on cutting this tube in half so I can get it threaded into the water pump without having to remove the pump. Then I will lengthen the heater core hose to reach the short pipe coming from the pump.

Sorry guys but I work at a dealership and we don't steal from anyone. Parts and labor may cost more than Fred's garage and Convenience Store but they are also guaranteed! And like the man said you can save some gas $ cause it only takes one try!

PS;
Don't cut it. The sharp edge will saw your hose off from the inside.
