Default where does this hose go

This hose was just sitting up on the side of the tranny, what is it? Also what is the best way to get a rounded bolt out? One of the bolts on the front Ujoint clamp is rounded off. Thanks

Probably trans or t-case breather line ...try 1 size smaller socket on bolt by pounding on with BFH if no go maybe vise grips I used vise grips with c-clamp to close grips and taped vise grip handle closed with a ton of tape to ensure it would not pop open and mess my hand up .

The hose is a vent hose.. It bolts to the top passenger side of your bell-housing.

Thanks for the hose info, Ill just zip tie it up since the bilt is MIA. As for the Ujoint bolts I tried using vice grips but they also spun. I dot know if the PO cross threaded them or what because all the others came off with no issues. Its just the front TC one that is a pain. Im just going to soak them with PB tonight, I was hoping to drive it next week as Ive been working on this thing since I bought it in Jan!

You could try and take a dremel and cut the head off or cut a slot in it and try a flat head screw driver to get it out.

the hose is the vent for the TC. How rounded the head on the bolt is your gonna want to cut the head off then when you get the driveshaft out you should be able to turn the remaining bolt out of the shaft

the bolts that hold the front driveshaft that hold the t-case have lock-tite on them, if u heat up where the bolts thread in a little and then try to turn them out they shuld cme out because the heat will loosen the lock-tite, i had the same problem
