Default Where does this hose go?

I was changing the ground cable from my battery to the block and noticed this hose just hanging there. Does anyone know where the other end of the rubber hose hooks to? The screwdriver is pointing at it, this end is at the back of the head on the drivers side.

Thanks for your help

Appears to be the line for your windsheild washers.

It's not to the windshield washer I traced the metal end back to the gas tank.

The hose is trashed cracked and torn on the Un connected end.

Thanks again for your help,

Mark

I believe thats your tank vent hose and the other end goes to your charcoal canister (vent).

Thanks it looks like it does go to the canister. So this might be a dumb question but would I use fuel or vacuum line to replace it?

Thanks again for your help,

Mark

Looking at my charcoal canister there are 2 spots where this hose could go. 1 towards the front of the jeep and one to the rear. Could someone please take a look and see where this hose goes and how many hoses there are supposed to be hooked up to the canister.

Thanks for the help

Well there is no way the hose that fits over the metal tube will fit on the charcoal canister also. Anyone else got any idea where this hose might go? It seems to run ok with it off I just don't like things not being hooked up properly.

Thanks

It does hook to the canister I have the same one on mine, you need a adapter to increase the size for it to fit
