find someone with the same year cherokee.... then park his jeep next to yours and open the hood.... take a roll of masking tape and run through all the harness connectors you see 1 by 1 between each vehicle, matching them up... while moving along tape previously check connectors and number them as you go.....

maybe that will help if you can manage it..and eliminate connectors leaving unplugged ones visible...
