Default hack n tap???

first off wat the heck is a hack n tap?? all im used to is the AA sye kit. for someone who is on a budget(like me) is the hack n tap a reasonable choice? is the hack n tap as strong as the AA sye kit? all inputs welcome. thanks.

definitely a reasonable choice! definitely cheaper! and unless your gonna be wheelin hard 3 to 4 times a week ***** to the wall!!!! an HnT will be fine and dandy

Just did my H&T fron Iron Rock today. Now that I have done it dont know why you would want to go any other way. Drive line is smooth as butter now!!

hack n tap is when they take a 231 t-case from a 96 or newer cherokee and cut the output-shaft down by a # of inches and then drill and tap the center of the output shaft and then put a pinion hook-up driveshaft hook-up (serious lack of better words) and bolt it to the output shaft of the t-case making it and SYE ready t-case.....

the newer style t-case has a sealed output shaft compared to the cone on the older styles..... very very cheap mod to make it sye ready
please any and all correct me if i'm wrong and toss in your knowledge on the topic
