it depends on the width of the spacer and how the lugs are set up but the cheapest ive seen is 139 for two inch spacers, but i say go for it i love the wide stance they give out, but if you are goin for a hardcore offroad rig then i would advise getting wheels with diff backspacing

anytime you add wheel spacers or even change the backspacing to get the wheel out farther you will putting added stress on the hub so dont go any wider then you have to theres nothing worng with wheel spacers just dont over do it

be sure to use locktite on them, and torque to correct specs. Something like 95ft-lbs i believe. I run 1.5" on the front...when i put my 8.8 in ill be running them on the rear also. The rims i got have too much backspacing, so much so that i could barely turn (tire hitting long arms)

these are 1.25" with studs and locktite. I have a little bit of rubbing with my tires and thought these may help. also I will not be doing lots of wheeling. I do offroad some but through the ranch and for hunting, fishing and camping. thanks for your thoughts.

You will be fine running 1.25 inch spacers. I run stock XJ aluminum rims with a 1.5 inch spacer, 33 inch tires, 4.56 gears and lockers front and rear. I do hardcore 4wheeling and my rig has been fine with the spacers for a couple of years now.

Like the guys said earlier, use locktite on the threads and re-torgue them everytime you have the wheels off for any maintenance.

Wheel spacers, as the others are saying, work great when properly installed. The problems start when tires are removed and not tightened by the owner etc. I work part time at a Sears Auto center and have seen cars and trucks come in with loose spacers or extreme thickness. The problem these days are shops are refusing to work on trucks with aftermarket spacers due to the insurance issues. Our shop will not touch vehicles with spacers. No mater how carefull we are, if the wheel comes off, the expense is not worth the trouble. We have seen where all the lug nuts have been sheered off due to improper installation by the owner. Just last week I had a dually come in where the owner wanted us to remove the stock rims and replace them with standard steel non-dual rims. We said no way, let someone else rotate your tires to this set-up.
