Bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5

You can put a 11.5" wide tire on a 7" or 8" wheel. Don't really matter which, mostly personal preference. They would fit on your stock wheels too but with stock backspacing, it may rub on the control arms.

Agree with muddeprived, I have seen and been told that you want to run them on an 8" wheel... You could run a 7 but it is just a bit too narrow for that big of a tire and tends to wear the center of the tread but the 8 lets the tread sit pretty squarely on the ground. You can run on a wider wheel, but not suggested for anything other than looks / mall crawling as rocks or other obstacles would tend to damage the rim or separate the bead.

If you do decide to keep your stock rims, you can buy wheel spacers that bolt in place where your rims normally would, then you bolt your rims to them. It gives you an extra inch or two of backspacing so that you won't rub.

the tire should say on the sidewall the recommended rim width. it should say 15x8.
most 15x8 aftermarket rims are between 3.75 and 4 inch backspacing.

if you're still running stock control arms, i'd go with 3.75bs, but they may still rub.

i have 33x12.50 on 15x8 rims with 3.75bs, on my tj with stock control arms and they still rub.
so an 11.5 might be ok.

I would say 8" wide is a good number. My preference on Wheels are the black Cragar Soft 8's. They are a good steel wheel and do not weigh much.
