Default Wheel Hub Assembly

I need to replace my hub on the driver side...my question is should I go ahead and replace both sides at the same time or should I wait until the passenger side starts to go?

Also I found these on ebay is this a good deal or should I try something else?

$73 for both with free shipping doesn't sound too bad

Personally I would just change out the one that is bad. Watch out for those bearings. Some things you really do get what you pay for. I would stick with Timken or a brand like that.

Wait on the other one. Never know how long it will last. I wouldn't go cheap on wheel bearings.

If they are the same age you may as well replace them both at the same time. This is not a tough job but still a PITA. Why not just do them both together. Then you have them out of the way and you can worry about other things.

it's always been recommended that if you replace one, to replace the other side as well. I would go with Timken. I went with another brand on another one of my vehicles and ended up replacing them with Timkens not longer then 6 months later. I won't be doing that again. I'm sticking with Timkens from here on out.

On the pther hand, why waste the time if its not bad. I could see if it was something similar on the same side like a ball joint or something. You really never know how long the other will last.

DO NOT BUY THOSE! I bought the exact same ones and my left one disintegrated while driving on the highway only one week after I installed it. I limped home, and pulled that chinese crap off my Jeep and replaced both sides with Timkens. No problems since.

I've never heard of replacing both wheel bearings just because one went bad. If that were true then I would have spent almost $700 just in parts on my g6 at a discount!
