hi! new here, want to know about wheel bearings/hubs.... 2000 xj sport, 3in rustys spring pack, TC drop. did the front end, had issues breakiing the rear leafs loose. took it to my shop and they said that they need to be replaced, after they installed my rear leafs and shocks. im wicked new when it comes to that.

im a father to a 15 month old who travels in my jeep alot, any recommendations on what to order is awesome! im in south florida, keep in mind we have swamp s#it, and i do wheel my rig....but i do 50 miles a day commute on 95. i need something good. hubs/bearings whatever, gotta keep my kid safe.

 

running 31x10.s M/T. i hear a little bit of howl at low speed. but on I95 doing 70-80 i cant hear it due to tire noise...a few clicks and pops over speed bumps.

 

Wheel Bearings don't click or pop. The noise for a wheel bearing is simple. You take a corner, if you hear a noise then straiten and the noise is lessened and you take another corner on the opposite side and no noise. That is a wheel bearing. Most of the time a click or pop over speed bumps is your Sway Bar links or Bushings. It is easy to tell if you have the truck in the air and run the truck up to 60mhp, using a scope you can hear the bearings. But for you, unless you paid a good shop to test them. There isn't much help I can give.
