Car quest has them listed around 280 - 300 $ each
I payed 130+tax because that's what ho'really listed them for.

Go look at a Timken then go look at the National.

I agree about the research thing.

But Timkens (at least the ones i bought) are Made in u.s.a..

Well I almost bought the Timken from Autozone but they were stamped made in China and the guy said some of them they sell are stamped made in India. I also know that Timken signed a partnership last year with a bearing company in China to produce their bearings. There are still Timken hubs floating around that were made in USA but any of the new products will be made in china and some in India. Now it is possible that the hubs are assembled in the US but the bearings and seals are not made in the USA at all.

Sure your not mixing up their std vs premium parts?

The 3 month special the countergal tryed to give me clearly said "made in china".
The timken she brought out afterwards clearly said "made in u.s.a.".
(thats why i bought it)
Maybe i got one of the last good ones?

That would suck if timken sold out to the reds.
Theve always done quality stuff in the past.
