I got mine loose by popping out the center caps on my wheels, and setting the vehicle on the ground with just the wheel on that side and used the weight of the vehicle to break it loose

Any luck with this nut? Ok. If a 1/2 impact didn't work most likely a 1" won't either. What you need to do is pb blast the sucker down good. Take a torch and heat it up red. While it's still glowing tale the impact and bust it off. Should work for you. Buy a new nut and replace your ujoints if they are bad while you have the hub assembly off. Also wouldn't be a bad idea to do both sides just to get it done and out of the way.

be extremely careful with heat and lube, red hot parts and oil = FIRE
also a 1" impact gun has alot more torqe than a 1/2" gun

Watch the heat on the nut, when it tranfers the heat to the axle, it too will expand. I see you all like that Pb, and it is ok, try Kroil. I use it in the gun shop all the time, and it is the best I have found, and yes, they are proud when you buy it, but it does get in thight places much better than PB. One other thing about heat, you will soften the metal, and may not be serviceable. One other thought, you could take a dremel too, with a fiber blade and make a relief cut on the nut. Would be about the same as doing a relief cut on a barrel to unscrew a receiver. The cut and kroil it will come off.
